The Civic has always been a popular sporty car within the Honda line-up and there is usually much anticipation and expectation when an all-new model is released.
The new Civic however was a little different. Whilst it gained advanced technology it lost a little of its sporty look that everyone loved. It still drove like a dream and probably even more so. The big idea was to highlight how intuitive driving the Civic had become and that it had not lost any of its excitement.
A teaser press ad and TVC invited people to log on to the campaign site and star in their very own Civic movie. The TVC was a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the movie.
On the website you would upload a photo of yourself which would appear in various scenes throughout the movie. The storyline for the movie itself was a thrilling car chase where you would be the driver of the Civic with police in hot pursuit.
